Dustin Caissie is the proud Team Market Owner (TMO) of the Tri-City Tide, a professional men’s basketball team based in Greater Moncton, Canada. A lifelong basketball enthusiast, Dustin has been passionate about the sport since his childhood, where he spent countless hours on the court fostering a love for the game. Now, he’s channeling that passion into bringing professional men’s basketball back to the Tri-City area.
In addition to his role with the Tide, Dustin is a successful entrepreneur and legal professional. He owns two furniture stores in Moncton and operates his own law firm, Optimum Law, located in Riverview, New Brunswick. His business and legal expertise bring a strong foundation to the team’s growth and success.
Dustin’s connection to basketball extends beyond his personal love for the game. He previously served as an assistant coach for the Crandall Chargers men’s basketball team, where he mentored student-athletes, and worked for the Moncton Miracles during their inaugural season, contributing to the local basketball community.
Dustin’s vision for the Tide is rooted in community engagement and the opportunity to inspire the next generation of basketball fans and players. He’s thrilled to bring the excitement and energy of professional basketball back to the Tri-City area, where he hopes to unite fans through the love of the game.
Jonathan Spirritts serves as the Assistant General Manager for the Tri-City Tide. A dedicated educator, volunteer, and mentor from Salisbury, New Brunswick, Jonathan is committed to fostering community engagement through sports.
Currently, Jonathan teaches at Lewisville Middle School within the Anglophone East School District. His extensive experience in basketball includes 12 years as a coach at Crandall University, where he also held the position of Head Coach for the men’s basketball team. Additionally, he has coached various junior, senior, and provincial basketball teams, and developed inclusive multi-sport camps through the Boys and Girls Club.
Jonathan’s passion for basketball began in his youth, leading him to earn his NCCP Level 2 coaching certification by the age of 16. He began coaching his peers in junior varsity basketball during high school and co-coached the ABU women’s basketball team at 18. His dedication to the sport and community continues to drive his efforts with the Tri-City Tide.
In his role as Assistant General Manager, Jonathan is instrumental in organizing events such as the Tri-City Tide Basketball Camp, which aims to develop young talent and promote the sport within the community.
Jordan Caissie, a native of Salisbury, New Brunswick, has been immersed in basketball since the age of four. Her passion for the sport propelled her through high school and into competitive play with Basketball New Brunswick, culminating in her collegiate career at Crandall University. She remains active in the sport, participating in the Moncton women’s league and a local social league.
Professionally, Jordan brings over 15 years of experience in sales and customer service, complemented by 8 years in account and project management. Most recently, she has succeeded as a real estate agent, where she further developed her skills in relationship building and community engagement. As a real estate professional with EXIT Realty Associates, Jordan has demonstrated a commitment to helping clients navigate the Moncton real estate market.
In her role as Director of Sponsorship for the Tri-City Tide, Jordan leverages her extensive experience in sales and community engagement to build and maintain partnerships that support the team’s growth and success. Her deep-rooted passion for basketball and her professional expertise make her a valuable asset to the Tri-City Tide organization.
Kristi McCullum serves as the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Tri-City Tide, bringing a lifelong passion for basketball and extensive experience in community engagement to her role. Her love for the game began at the age of five, and she has remained actively involved in basketball throughout her life, participating in the Moncton women’s league and a local social league.
Professionally, Kristi has several years of experience in community engagement, outreach, and education, specifically in Southeast New Brunswick. She is actively involved in multiple basketball and sports leagues within the community, demonstrating her commitment to fostering sports participation and community development. Her expertise includes program and project management, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and a passion for turning vision into reality.
Kristi’s collaborative approach to community outreach ensures that the Tri-City Tide’s initiatives benefit, support, and engage the local community, creating a positive impact for everyone in the area.
Kyle Lyons serves as the Director of Marketing & Communications for the Tri-City Tide, bringing a wealth of experience in marketing and communications to the team. A dedicated father and husband, Kyle is deeply committed to his family and community. He resides in Riverview, New Brunswick, with his wife, Kate Lyons.
Professionally, Kyle has honed his skills in various roles, including as an Event Producer at BeaconLive, where he was responsible for organizing and managing events.
His expertise in event production and communication strategies significantly contributes to the Tri-City Tide’s marketing efforts.
Outside of his professional career, Kyle’s passion for basketball shines through his active participation in local leagues, showcasing his dedication to the sport and his community. His collaborative and innovative approach to marketing and communications ensures the Tri-City Tide’s initiatives resonate with and uplift the local community, fostering a meaningful and lasting positive impact.
Originally from France, Anne Sophie Desbles has been in Moncton for 10 years and is now a proud Canadian of 6 years! She has worked for 15+ years for Disney as an Event Manager. This vast experience uniquely positioners her to be an integral member of the Tide’s game day staff. She has always been a huge basketball fan, working with different leagues and teams on game day. She is looking forward to expanding the basketball community and to create an amazing experience on game days for spectators
