Tri-City Tide Youth Camp Day 1 | A Day to Remember!
The Tri-City Tide Youth Camp was a huge success today, bringing together young athletes for an action-packed day of basketball, learning, and mentorship. With players eager to develop their skills, the Tide coaching staff and players made sure to provide an unforgettable experience.
Tide Players Giving Back
Several Tri-City Tide players stepped onto the court to guide the next generation, including Marc McLaughlin, Doug Thomas, and Demonte Nelson, among others. They led drills, gave one-on-one advice, and shared their experiences as professional athletes.
One of the highlights of the day came from Frank Agyemang, who reflected on what it meant to be part of the camp:
“I remember how special it was to have something like this when I was a kid. I really wish I had some type of role model or mentor in my life to come and make an impact on my basketball journey.”
For Frank and the rest of the Tide players, today was about more than just basketball—it was about inspiring young athletes and giving back to the community.
Making an Impact
The Tri-City Tide are committed to growing the game at the grassroots level, and today’s camp was a perfect example of that mission in action. Seeing the excitement and passion from the young athletes was a reminder of how important these events are for the community.
A huge thank you to everyone who came out and participated—we can’t wait to do it again!
