Tri City Tide Signs High-Scoring Forward Devon Andrews

The Tri City Tide is excited to welcome Devon Andrews, a dynamic 6’6″ forward from Oberlin, Ohio. Andrews brings a wealth of experience and a proven scoring touch, having made an impact at every level of the game.
A Standout Career from High School to the Pros
Andrews first turned heads at Lorain High School, where he averaged 21.8 points, 6.5 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game, establishing himself as one of Ohio’s top prospects. His talent earned him a path through NCAA Division I basketball, with stops at Kent State, Pratt Community College, and FIU.
At Pratt CC, Andrews exploded offensively, earning National Junior College Athletic Association Player of the Week honors with a career-high 43-point performance. He was named First Team All-Jayhawk Conference and First Team All-Region, proving himself as one of the top JUCO players in the country.
At FIU, Andrews continued to shine. He posted 15.3 PPG and 5.1 RPG in his first year and followed it up with an even stronger senior season, averaging 15.4 PPG. His efforts helped FIU secure its first-ever postseason victory, and he was named Preseason All-Conference USA and All-Conference USA Second Team.
Dominating the TBL
Andrews has since established himself as a force in The Basketball League (TBL). In 2021, he averaged 20.4 PPG with Midtown Prestige, and in 2024, he elevated his game even further with the Wichita Skykings, ranking 3rd in the league in scoring (29.0 PPG) and 4th in steals (2.4 SPG).
A Game-Changer for the Tide
With his elite scoring ability, strong rebounding, and all-around versatility, Andrews is set to be a major contributor for the Tri City Tide this season. His ability to create offense and bring high-energy play will be a key addition to the team’s lineup.
Stay tuned as Andrews takes the court and looks to make an immediate impact!
