welcome James French to the tide!
The Tri-City Tide are thrilled to announce the signing of James French, a 6’5″ forward/center from Moncton, New Brunswick, whose basketball journey exemplifies dedication, leadership, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.
James’s basketball journey began at Bernice MacNaughton High School, where he represented Team New Brunswick at the national level three times. In his senior year, he earned the prestigious title of Conference Player of the Year for his skill and leadership on the court.
Continuing his athletic journey, James played for four years at Mount Allison University, serving as co-captain for three seasons. In his third year, he led his team to an ACAA Championship, showcasing his leadership and commitment to excellence. Later, he played at Crandall University, earning All-Star honors for his exceptional play.
Beyond his playing career, James has dedicated himself to coaching and mentoring the next generation of players. As the Technical Director for the Moncton Hawks provincial program, he has been instrumental in developing young talent and fostering a passion for the game.
Known for his winning mentality, James’s presence on the court is characterized by his strategic playmaking, defensive prowess, and ability to inspire his teammates. His experience and passion for the game make him a valuable addition to the Tri-City Tide.
As James joins the Tri-City Tide, fans can look forward to witnessing his dynamic playstyle and leadership on the court. His addition is poised to elevate the team’s performance and inspire fans throughout the season.
