The Tri-City Tide are thrilled to announce the signing of 6’4″ shooting guard Brandon Neel, a dynamic player whose career has been marked by impressive achievements and a relentless drive for excellence.
Hailing from Cincinnati, Ohio, Neel attended La Salle High School, where he made a significant impact on the basketball court. In his senior year, he led the team to a remarkable 28-2 record and secured the state championship. His outstanding performance earned him The Enquirer Division I Player of the Year award and recognition as the most outstanding player in the state tournament.
Neel’s collegiate journey began at South Plains College, where he averaged 10.1 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. He then transferred to Midwestern State University, where he continued to excel, averaging 18.8 points and 5.8 rebounds per game in his final two years. Transitioning to professional basketball, Neel showcased his skills with the Moncton Magic in the National Basketball League of Canada during the 2019-2020 season. He further honed his talents with Neptune Basketball Club in Ireland and Buras Guaymas in Mexico, where he averaged 22.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.
Now, Neel brings his expertise to the Tri-City Tide, joining a team committed to excellence and community engagement.
