Tri-City Tide Signs Champion Guard DeQuon Cascart

The Tri-City Tide is excited to welcome DeQuon Cascart, a talented 6’1″ guard from North York, Ontario. A proven winner, DeQuon played five seasons at Humber College, where he helped lead the Hawks to a perfect 16-0 season in 2021-2022, capturing both provincial and national championships. Averaging 21.5 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game, he was named CCAA Championship MVP, OCAA Player of the Year, and Humber Male Athlete of the Year.

Following his college career, DeQuon brought his winning mentality to the Truro Tide in the ECBL, where he and future Tri-City teammate Qyemah Gibson led the team to a 12-1 record before the league’s shutdown. In 13 games, he averaged 20.2 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, shooting an efficient 44.2% from the field and 41.4% from three.

With his elite scoring ability, championship experience, and leadership, DeQuon is set to be a key piece of the Tide’s backcourt. We can’t wait to see him bring his energy to the court and the fans. Welcome to the Tri-City Tide, DeQuon Cascart!
