Doug’s basketball journey has taken him across the globe, with professional stints in Venezuela, Mexico, Sweden, the USA, and Canada. He showcased his skills in the NBA Summer League with teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder, Phoenix Suns, and Chicago Bulls. His outstanding performances also earned him invites to training camps with the San Antonio Spurs, Phoenix Suns, and Los Angeles Lakers.

A dominant force during his college years, Doug played a pivotal role in Southeastern Community College’s back-to-back National Championships, amassing an incredible 69-5 record over two seasons. As a sophomore, he averaged 10.1 points and 6.7 rebounds, including a record-tying 13 rebounds in the national title game. At the University of Iowa, he earned the Big-10 Conference 6th Man of the Year award, solidifying his reputation as a valuable contributor.

Doug’s professional career began in Switzerland and included a standout season with the Iowa Energy in the NBA G-League, where he averaged 10 points and 6 rebounds as a starter. His journey also brought him gold medal success in Sweden, further demonstrating his ability to impact teams positively.
